We searched for this congregation by name with its town and on social platforms, and we found a Facebook page titled "Panijhora NELC church" at facebook.com/p/Panijhora-NELC-church-100021299241338/, which matches the church's name and its denomination's abbreviation, though we could not read its content because the platform requires a login. The parent body is real and well documented: the Northern Evangelical Lutheran Church (NELC) is a multi-lingual Lutheran church centred in Jharkhand, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal, and it is listed by the Lutheran World Federation. Panijhora itself is a genuine place in this district: a small tribal hamlet of about 72 families and 320 people in Alipurduar, also covered in news reports about a village library project (alipurduar.gov.in, ETV Bharat).
