What we found
We searched for Christian Brethren Churches (CBC) in Port Moresby and found that the group is a long-established denomination in Papua New Guinea: a mission site describes CBC PNG as a network of roughly 400 churches across the country (mvnz.org), and a published history covers the founding and work of the Christian Brethren Churches in Papua New Guinea from 1951 to 2015 (Amazon book listing). For the capital itself, the national newspaper The National reported that NCD Governor Powes Parkop gave K30,000 to the Christian Brethren Church's early childhood programme in Port Moresby, announced at the opening of the church's new chapel at Morata, and the Port Moresby city authority NCDC covered the same opening of the CBC building at Morata 1, seating more than 500 people (ncdc.gov.pg).
