What we found
We searched for a Presbyterian congregation in Mbeya and found that Presbyterian work does exist in Tanzania, though it is small: the Presbyterian Church of East Africa reports roughly two Tanzanian congregations within its presbyteries, having begun work there in 1950 (Wikipedia), and a PCEA parish directory lists a Mbeya postal address, P.O. Box 1858 (pcea.or.ke). We also found a separate body describing itself as the Presbyterian Church of Tanzania (PCT), a non-profit spiritual congregation whose Iringa Presbytery was formed in 1998 (iringapresbyterianchurch.blogspot.com), plus a Facebook page for Mara Presbyterian Church in Tanzania, based in Musoma. We found no page, map listing or directory entry for a Mbeya congregation under this exact name, and nothing linking the given Gmail contact to a registered church. We found no scam warnings, fraud reports or complaints about this name.
Our conclusion: Presbyterian church bodies genuinely operate in Tanzania, and a Presbyterian parish directory even lists a Mbeya postal address, so a Presbyterian congregation in that city is entirely plausible and fits the historic Christian faith. However, the signup gives only a very general denominational name with no website, social page or other reference, and we found nothing that ties Pastor Geofrey Kapulya Chambo or this Gmail address to a specific Mbey
