What we found

We searched for "Power of Faith in Christ Church" together with Nairobi and Kenya, and found no listing, news mention, denominational register entry or map record for a congregation of that name anywhere in Kenya. The closest Kenyan results were different bodies with similar-sounding names, such as "Church of the Power of Jesus Christ" in Kayole, Nairobi, listed in the Net Ministries worldwide church directory, which is plainly not the same church. Our attempt to confirm the given Facebook page also failed: the search returned only same-named pages abroad, for example a "Power of Faith Church" page based in Bacoor City, Cavite in the Philippines and "Power of Faith FWC" in Decatur, Georgia, and our servers cannot open the profile ID supplied. Our conclusion: When we asked for confirmation, the church sent a photo of its building and congregation, a working WhatsApp group invitation, and the name and phone number of Bishop Peter Osao as a reference who can vouch for them, together with a brief account of growing from six members to about thirty. An independent web search found no listing for this name in Nairobi, but that is common for a very new or small Kenyan congregation, and we found no negative
