What we checked

• Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
• The name reads as a real congregation
• Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
• The address given (africanchurch.bi) did not answer when we tried it, with and without www; a mistyped address says nothing about the congregation itself
• Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right

What we found

We searched for "African Gospel Church Burundi" together with Makamba, for the bare word "africanchurch", and for the name on Facebook and on common site builders, and we found no page, directory entry, news item or map listing for a congregation of this name in Makamba or anywhere else in Burundi. The given address africanchurch.bi did not appear in any search result; the only similar address we saw was africanchurch.org, an unrelated site with no readable description and no link to Makamba or Burundi (search result for "africanchurch"). Churches called "African Gospel Church" do exist elsewhere, for example one mapped in Kampala, Uganda a church in Makindye Division, Kampala, but that is a different country. We found no scam reports, complaints or warnings about this name, and no sign that it is only a personal brand; the contact given is a free Gmail address, which is common for small congregations.
