What we found
We searched for "RCCG Jesus Team" in Ibadan, for the name together with "RCCG parish Nigeria", and for the name on Facebook, and none of the three searches returned any page, directory entry, map listing, news item or denominational record for a parish by this exact name, nor did the specific Facebook profile ID given to us appear anywhere in the results. What we did find instead were many other, clearly separate Ibadan parishes with similar-sounding names, such as Rccg Jesus Refuge in Ibadan, RCCG Jesus Empire, described as a zonal parish under Oyo Province 4, and RCCG Jesus Foundation in Akobo, Ibadan, which shows that genuine Ibadan parishes normally do leave a visible online trace. Our conclusion: The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a large, well-established Trinitarian denomination with many parishes in Ibadan, and a parish named "RCCG Jesus Team" fits its normal naming pattern for a local congregation. The Facebook page supplied could not be opened because Facebook blocks automated reading, and an independent search found no listing under this exact parish name, so the page remains unverified rather than disproved.
