What we found
We searched the church name with Nairobi and with Kenya and found no congregation of this name in Nairobi. The only well-documented body using this exact name is based on the coast, not the capital: Lighthouse for Christ Mission is described as an independent, evangelical, nondenominational mission whose main facility is in Mombasa, Kenya, with an eye clinic, a Bible Institute and work with many churches (ECFA accreditation register, lighthouseforchrist.org, a Facebook page listing a Mombasa post office box and phone number). That Mombasa mission does plant congregations, and it reports over 110 established churches and preaching points, so a Nairobi-linked group is plausible but is nowhere named or listed. Searches also surfaced separate, unrelated Nairobi churches with similar names, such as Nairobi Lighthouse Church (nairobilighthouse.com). Our conclusion: A well-documented mission of exactly this name does exist in Kenya, but its base and public presence are in Mombasa on the coast, and our independent search found no congregation, map entry or social page for a Lighthouse for Christ Mission group in Nairobi. Because that Mombasa mission reports more than a hundred planted churches and preaching points, a Nairobi-linked congregation led by Pastor John Mutua is quite plausible, and we found no comp
