CITY OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES
DEMSA, Nigeria · listed since 2026-09-14
Provisionally listed

What we checked

  • Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
  • The name reads as a real congregation
  • Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
  • No website or social page was provided
  • Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right

What we found

We searched for "City of Hope International Ministries" together with Demsa, with Nigeria, and with Adamawa State, and found no page, listing, photo or mention tied to a congregation in Demsa or anywhere in Nigeria. Every match with this or a near-identical name belongs to churches elsewhere, for example a City of Hope International Church in the United States (thecityonline.org and cohic.com), a City of Hope International Worship Centre in Elkridge, Maryland (Facebook), and a US-registered charity called City of Hope Ministries International Inc. in Georgia (Charity Navigator), none of which show any Demsa link. We found no church directory entry, map listing, denomination register record, news mention or social media page for the Demsa group, and the only contact given is a free Gmail address, which cannot be verified either way. We also found no scam reports, fraud warnings or complaints attached to this name in Nigeria. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.

Search conclusion: no evidence found. An independent web search is part of every review; an online page alone does not prove a congregation exists.

Our conclusion: No website, social media page or directory listing could be found for City of Hope International Ministries in Demsa, and every similar name our search returned belongs to unrelated churches in the United States. At the same time, nothing suggests a problem: the name reads as a congregation rather than a person or business, the contact is given as a pastor with a personal Gmail address, which is completely normal for a small rural church in Adama

We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.

Faith.network reviews church signups in good faith, using automated checks of publicly available information at the review date shown above. We have not visited this congregation in person; that this church exists therefore remains an assumption supported by the evidence above, not an established fact.
