We searched for "The Family Church" together with Uyo and Akwa Ibom, and then for the name alongside the contact surname Bassey, and we found no page, listing or mention of a congregation by this name in Uyo, Nigeria. The results returned only unrelated churches elsewhere, for example a Family Church in Portsmouth, England and one in New Jersey (map/travel listing on Wanderlog, thefamilychurchnj.com), plus well-documented Uyo churches that are clearly different bodies, such as Full Life Christian Centre on Full Life Avenue, Uyo and the QIC-United Evangelical Church headquarters on Nsikak Eduok Avenue, Uyo. A Nigerian church directory listing several Uyo congregations (nigerianfinder.com) does not include this name either, and no denomination register, Facebook page or map pin for it appeared.
