What we found
We searched for the church by name with Blantyre and with Malawi. Two business directories list a "Bible Faith Ministries" at Blantyre, Malawi with a local phone number but no street address, website or named pastor (Search in Africa, malawi.searchinafrica.com; AfricanAdvice, which shows the entry as Blantyre, Malawi with no reviews or complaints). An academic history of Malawian charismatic churches mentions Bible Faith Ministries as one of the splinter groups that emerged from Andrew Gabriel's Born-again Evangelistic Association in the Blantyre area, which suggests a real congregation with roots in the 1980s. We found no Facebook page, denominational register entry, map listing or news coverage tying the group to the Gmail contact address, and a website of the same name (biblefaithministries.net) shows no Malawi connection. We found no scam reports, fraud warnings or complaints against this name.
Our conclusion: Independent searching found two Malawian business directories listing a "Bible Faith Ministries" in Blantyre with a local phone number, and an academic history of charismatic churches in Malawi names Bible Faith Ministries as one of the congregations that grew out of Andrew Gabriel's Born-again Evangelistic Association in the Blantyre area from the 1980s.
