What we found
We searched for "Revival Community Church" together with Swellendam and with South Africa, and we found no congregation of that name in Swellendam or anywhere in the Western Cape. The only church of that exact name that appears is in Danville, Indiana, United States, with its own website and Facebook page (a nondenominational church on West U.S. Highway 36, Danville, Indiana, revivalchurchonline.com), which is clearly a different body. Similarly named South African churches that do show up are elsewhere, such as Revival Church in Krugersdorp (Facebook) and the Christian Revival Church network based in Bloemfontein (crcchurch.com), and neither lists a Swellendam branch. Searches on the surname Windvogel linked to a Swellendam church returned only unrelated genealogy and news items, no pastor profile, directory entry or map listing. Our conclusion: In response to our request the congregation sent a photo of its building and congregation, and described itself as a small church started in 2020 with about 25 members, meeting in Railton, which is a township of Swellendam and fits the stated location exactly. An independent web search found no listing for this church, but that is normal for a small township congregation of this size and is not evidence against it, and nothing in the submission l
