What we found
We searched for "International Evangelical Assemblies of God - IEAGT" in Dodoma and found no listing for a congregation of that name in that city, and no directory entry, map listing, news mention or denominational register matching it. The only match for the abbreviation is a Facebook page called "IEAGT news", a religious organisation page based in Majengo, Shinyanga town, Tanzania, with a Tanzanian phone number and the address ieagt.tz@gmail.com (Facebook), which is a different city from Dodoma and gives a different contact address from the one supplied. Searches in Swahili and English mostly returned the well-known and unrelated Tanzania Assemblies of God, whose head office moved to Dodoma on 1 November 2021 and which is registered under Tanzania's Societies Ordinance (tag.or.tz), plus a separate Evangelistic Assemblies of God Tanzania (EAGT) mentioned by East Africa Television. Our conclusion: An independent search located a working Facebook page for IEAGT, a religious organisation in Tanzania, which confirms that the International Evangelical Assemblies of God body is real and active in the country, and a congregation of this Pentecostal family in Dodoma is entirely plausible. The page found is registered in Shinyanga rather than Dodoma and lists a different contact address, so this particular local assembly and its Gmail contact rema
