What we found
We searched for "Global House of Prayer" together with Lilongwe and with Malawi, and we found no congregation of that name anywhere in Malawi. The matches that came up all belong to unrelated ministries elsewhere: a 24-7 prayer ministry in Virginia Beach in the United States (globalhop.org, a Facebook page and a ZoomInfo business listing), a separate online prayer ministry founded in 2020 by a bishop in another country (ghofprayer.org), and prayer-centred churches in Britain, South Africa and Australia. A broader search of Malawian church material, including Wikipedia's list of Christian denominations in Malawi and news coverage of Lilongwe congregations, turned up no mention of this church, and we found no map listing, directory entry or denominational register for it. We also found no scam reports, complaints or warnings tied to the name or the Gmail contact address, so nothing negative surfaced either. Our conclusion: The name "Global House of Prayer" and the chosen verse, Mark 11:17 ("my house shall be called a house of prayer"), fit together naturally, and a small congregation in Lilongwe using a free Gmail address is entirely normal in Malawi.
