What we checked

  • Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
  • The name reads as a real congregation
  • Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
  • No website or social page was provided
  • Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right

What we found

We searched for the church under its own name and with its country, and found that the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Kenya is a long-established national denomination, founded by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada through missionaries Marion and Otto Keller in the early 1900s, with headquarters on a hilltop at Nyang'ori near Kisumu, and it is listed among recognised national fellowships (Wikipedia list of Assemblies of God National Fellowships). Its official Facebook page describes Nyang'ori Mission station headquarters in Vihiga, about 5,200 likes, and over 6,000 assemblies nationwide, and a Twitter/X account uses the same description. We found no listing for a specific PAG congregation in Nairobi, and the contact address given is an ordinary personal Gmail account rather than a church domain. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.

Search conclusion: strong evidence. An independent web search is part of every review; an online page alone does not prove a congregation exists.

Our conclusion: The Pentecostal Assemblies of God Kenya is a long-established national Pentecostal denomination founded through Canadian Pentecostal missionaries, with headquarters at Nyang'ori near Kisumu and thousands of assemblies across the country, and our independent search reached its active Facebook page under exactly this name. The denomination is plainly within the historic Christian faith, and a congregation or office in Nairobi is entirely plausible

No further action is needed. This report is refreshed whenever the church is reviewed again.

Faith.network reviews church signups in good faith, using automated checks of publicly available information at the review date shown above. We have not visited this congregation in person; that this church exists therefore remains an assumption supported by the evidence above, not an established fact.
