We searched for this congregation in Bentol City and found independent confirmation that it exists. A Cornell College alumni news article states that William R. Tolbert III was appointed National Peace Ambassador of Liberia in 2015 and served as pastor of Zion Praise Baptist Church in Bentol City since 1998, and Baptist News Global notes the same church in Bentol City, also known as Bensonville, near Monrovia. The Liberian Observer reports a funeral service held at Zion Praise Baptist Church in Bentol City on 5 October 2024, showing the congregation is still active, and the church is historically tied to former president William R. Tolbert Jr., who pastored it from 1953 to 1980. We found no scam reports, complaints or signs of a fake page, but also no official website, denomination register entry or map listing, and nothing connecting the given Gmail address to the church.
