Church Verification Report
What we checked
- Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
- The name reads as a real congregation
- Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
- A Facebook page was provided; Facebook blocks automated reading, so it was weighed through the independent search
- Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right
What we found
We searched for "Victory Arena Gospel Mission Intl" together with Lagos and Nigeria, and found no church of that name in any directory, news report, denominational register or map listing; the Lagos results returned only unrelated bodies such as Victory Apostolic Church in Yaba and other Lagos ministries (Net Ministries worldwide church directory), plus a differently named Assemblies of God Church (Victory Arena) at Ojokoro Village, Ikorodu (wisdomlib directory). A Facebook page simply called "Victory Arena" exists with about 142 likes, described as a personal blog sharing teachings and testimonies, but it is not the profile ID you supplied and does not identify itself as a Lagos congregation. We could not open or confirm the given Facebook profile, since that platform blocks our servers and the page did not appear in search results. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.
Our conclusion: The signup gives a specific Facebook page, a named pastor and a plausible Lagos location, and nothing in the details suggests a business, a personal brand or a group outside historic Christian belief. Facebook blocks our servers from reading pages, so the link could not be checked, and an independent web search turned up no listing for a church of this exact name in Lagos, only unrelated ministries with similar words in their names. We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.
