Church Verification Report
What we checked
- Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
- The name reads as a real congregation
- Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
- A Facebook page was provided; Facebook blocks automated reading, so it was weighed through the independent search
- Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right
What we found
We searched for the full church name with Abidjan and with Yopougon, and found no page, directory entry, news item or denomination listing anywhere that carries this exact name; the results returned only unrelated Ivorian churches such as Mission Évangélique Grâce de Vie in Abidjan and Église CMA Yopougon-Sideci. A separate search aimed at the Facebook address facebook.com/miegeci also failed to surface that page or the church's name; the engine returned other Abidjan church pages instead, so we could not confirm the page exists or who runs it (Facebook search results, africabz and ichretien church directories). Nothing in any Ivorian church directory we saw lists this ministry. We found no scam reports, complaints or warnings about this name either, so there is no negative signal, only silence. Small Ivorian congregations often have no web footprint, so this absence does not prove the church is not real.
Our conclusion: The church gave a specific Facebook page (facebook.com/miegeci, whose handle matches the initials of Ministère International de l'Evangile de Grâce in Côte d'Ivoire), but Facebook blocks automated reading and our independent search could not surface the page or any directory listing for this exact name in Abidjan or Yopougon. Nothing negative was found either: there are no scam reports or contradictory information, and small Ivorian congregations
We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.
