Church Verification Report
What we checked
- Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
- The name reads as a real congregation
- Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
- A Facebook page was provided; Facebook blocks automated reading, so it was weighed through the independent search
- Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right
What we found
We searched for "Grace of Gospel Tabernacle Church" together with Ekiti and with Nigeria, and we found no listing, news item, denominational register entry or map record for a church of that exact name in Ekiti West or anywhere in Nigeria. The results returned only unrelated churches with similar-sounding names, such as RCCG Grace Tabernacle Church in Shomolu, Lagos and Grace Revolution Gospel Church on Saka Tinubu Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, plus Grace Tabernacle congregations in the United States. Our attempt to confirm the given Facebook address returned only other "Gospel Tabernacle" pages abroad, for example Gospel Tabernacle Church in Atlanta, at 277 Clifton St SE and Gospel Tabernacle in Dunn, North Carolina, and the short address facebook.com/ggtc could not be verified because our servers cannot open the platform. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.
Our conclusion: The signup gives a complete and plausible profile: a named pastor, a town in Ekiti State, Nigeria, and a Facebook address whose short form matches the initials of the church name, but Facebook blocks automated reading so we could not see the page itself. An independent web search turned up no listing, map record or news item for a church of this exact name in Ekiti West, and also no scam reports or warnings of any kind, so there is simply silence
We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.
