What we found
We searched for the congregation by name with its city and country and found independent press coverage rather than a page run by the church itself. The Christian Chronicle, a long-established newspaper covering Churches of Christ worldwide, reports on it twice: one article quotes Evance Mwapasa, an elder of the Area 47 Church of Christ in Malawi's capital, Lilongwe, and another describes a partnership involving the Area 47 Church of Christ in Lilongwe and the Green Valley Church of Christ in Noblesville, Indiana, again quoting Mwapasa as an elder of the Area 47 church. These reports are more than fifteen years old, so they confirm the congregation existed but not its present state. We found no website, Facebook page, map listing or denominational register entry for it, and no scam reports, complaints or warnings of any kind, and nothing linking the contact email to the congregation.
Our conclusion: An independent search found coverage in The Christian Chronicle, a long-established newspaper reporting on Churches of Christ worldwide, which names the Area 47 Church of Christ in Lilongwe, Malawi, twice and quotes its elder Evance Mwapasa, including in a report on its partnership with Green Valley Church of Christ in Noblesville, Indiana.
