What we found
We searched for "Excellent Vine Mission Church" together with Benin City, for the name with "church" and Nigeria, and for the contact surname from the given email address, and none of these turned up any page, listing or mention of a congregation by this exact name. What came back instead were other, unrelated Benin City churches such as Church of God Mission International (Wikipedia and cgmglobal.org) and True Vine Mission on Okhoro Road (tvmonline.tripod.com), plus Vine-named churches elsewhere in Nigeria like Vine Branch Church in Ibadan and Vine City Church International in Lagos (Facebook and vinecitychurch.org). We found no Facebook page, map listing, denomination register entry or news article for Excellent Vine Mission Church, and no website; the only contact given is a free Gmail address, which cannot be verified. We also found no scam reports, fraud warnings or complaints attached to this name. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.
Our conclusion: The church name, its contact person and the chosen verse (John 15:5, "I am the vine") all fit a small independent congregation in Benin City, and nothing suggests a joke entry, a business or a group outside the historic Christian faith. However, an independent web search found no website, social page, map listing or any other mention of Excellent Vine Mission Church, and the only contact point is a free Gmail address that cannot be checked. We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.
