• The address given (pcea.ke) did not answer when we tried it, with and without www; a mistyped address says nothing about the congregation itself
• A working page belonging to this church was found by the search: pcea.or.ke/
• Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right

What we found

We searched for "PCEA" in Nairobi and found that the name is not a single congregation but a whole denomination: the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) is a Presbyterian denomination headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with about 4 million members, over 3,200 congregations, 500 parishes and 61 presbyteries. The address given to us, pcea.ke, did not answer, but the denomination's working site is pcea.or.ke, listing PCEA Jitegemea House, Muhoho Avenue South C, Nairobi (zoominfo confirms the same office and domain). That site also lists many named Nairobi parishes, and separate Facebook pages exist for individual ones such as Nyari, Embakasi and Evergreen, but none matches the bare name or the Gmail contact given. We found no scam or fraud reports about PCEA. The application names a national denomination rather than one identifiable local congregation, which we could not verify.
