What we found
We searched for "Chapel Of Praise Intl" together with Buchanan, Grand Bassa County and Liberia, and found no listing, page or mention of a church by that name anywhere in Liberia. The results for Buchanan instead showed other, unrelated congregations in that city, such as Calvary Chapel Buchanan in Grand Bassa County and a Buchanan Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Grand Bassa County, and no Liberian denominational register or church directory we saw names this church. Searches for the name alone returned only similarly named but clearly different bodies abroad, including a Praise Chapel International page based in Goaso, Ghana and Praise Chapel International in Greensboro, North Carolina. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.
Our conclusion: The name "Chapel Of Praise Intl" is a normal congregational name and nothing in the signup suggests a business, a personal brand or a group outside historic Christian teaching, and a free Gmail address is quite common for small churches in Liberia. However, an independent web search found no page, listing, directory entry or any other mention of this church in Buchanan or anywhere in Grand Bassa County, and the similarly named results all belong
We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.
