What we found

We searched for a "New Life Church" in Mzimba, Malawi and found no page, listing or contact record for a congregation of that name in that town. The name is common in Malawi: a church-planting network lists several New Life congregations around the country and one entry for Mzimba, but that entry is named Kambanga Prayer House rather than New Life Church (acpi.church), and the best-documented New Life Church in Malawi is a Presbyterian congregation in the capital Lilongwe, with its own website and overseas partners (newlifemalawi.com, wccpc.org, acts29.com). We found no Facebook page, map listing, news article or denomination register tying the name to Mzimba, and nothing linking the given Gmail address or the name Blessings Mbulo to any church there. We found no scam reports, complaints or warnings about this name either. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.

Our conclusion: The congregation responded to our request with a photograph of the church, the fuller name "Kam'banga New Life Church", a Reformed evangelical Presbyterian affiliation and a named reference who can vouch for them. That name lines up closely with the church-planting network listing for a congregation at Kambanga in the Mzimba area, which our own search had already found, so the two pieces of evidence support each other.
