What we checked

  • Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
  • The name reads as a real congregation
  • Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
  • No website or social page was provided
  • Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right

What we found

We searched for "Christ Report Evangelical Ministries" together with Obudu, with the abbreviation CREMI, and with the surname in the contact email, and we found no page, listing or mention of this church anywhere. The results returned only unrelated bodies with similar-sounding names, such as Christ Evangelical Ministries International and other evangelical groups in Nigeria and Ghana, and none of them is based in Obudu. Local business and map directories that do cover Obudu list other congregations, for example Catholic, Anglican, Assemblies of God and Living Faith churches (cybo.com, worldorgs.com, VConnect), but they do not include this name, and the only Obudu church page we saw on Facebook belongs to The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Obudu Area. We found no scam reports, fraud warnings or complaints against this name, and no sign that it is merely a personal brand; we simply found nothing at all. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.

Search conclusion: no evidence found. An independent web search is part of every review; an online page alone does not prove a congregation exists.
On our request, the church itself supplied additional evidence for this review; it was weighed in the verdict. See the appendix on page 2.

Our conclusion: Our independent search found no website, listing or mention of Christ Report Evangelical Ministries in Obudu, but it also found no scam reports or any sign that the name is a personal brand, and a very new Nigerian congregation with no internet presence and a free Gmail address is entirely normal. In response to our request the church supplied a photograph of its building and congregation along with a plain account of itself: founded on 9 Februar

No further action is needed. This report is refreshed whenever the church is reviewed again.

Faith.network reviews church signups in good faith, using automated checks of publicly available information at the review date shown above.
