We confirmed that the denomination itself is real and well documented: the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian is a Presbyterian denomination with five synods, three of them in Malawi - Livingstonia in the north, Nkhoma in the centre and Blantyre in the south, and it is the largest Protestant denomination in Malawi (Wikipedia, World Council of Churches, Presbyterian Church in Ireland). Dedza lies in central Malawi, which falls under Nkhoma Synod, a body reported to have 124 congregations and almost 1,300 prayer houses, and we did see Dedza mentioned incidentally in CCAP research material (Dictionary of African Christian Biography). However, we found no listing, Facebook page, map entry or synod register naming a specific congregation in Dedza, and nothing linking the Gmail contact address to any CCAP office, which is normal for small rural congregations in Malawi but means the local body itself is unverified. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.
Our conclusion: The Church of Central Africa Presbyterian is a real and well documented denomination and the largest Protestant body in Malawi, and Dedza lies in central Malawi within the area served by its Nkhoma Synod, so the name and location fit together naturally. No listing, page or synod register entry for this particular Dedza congregation could be found, and the contact uses a personal Gmail address, which is entirely normal for small rural congregation
