Church Verification Report
What we checked
- Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
- The name reads as a real congregation
- Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
- No website or social page was provided
- Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right
What we found
No listing under this exact name found on any directory, denomination register, or map source. facebook.com - Gambella church pages exist, but for other bodies, e.g. Christian Temple Church International, Gambela, Ethiopia, a Pentecostal church; none named "Golden of Salvation." 3. en.wikipedia.org - Gambella-region church coverage is limited to bodies like the Apostolic Vicariate of Gambella, covering all the Gambella Region; no match. ecgbc.org / etfullgospel.com - Ethiopian evangelical umbrella bodies exist, but no member/congregation entry surfaced under this name. Similar-sounding hits are unrelated foreign entities: goldenministryinc.org (US-based, Asia missions) and rockofsalvationinternationalfellowship.org (Philadelphia, USA). Note: the contact is a free Gmail address, and small Gambella congregations commonly have no online presence, so this is inconclusive rather than disproving.
Our conclusion: Name, Nuer-style pastor name, and Gambella location fit a plausible small Ethiopian congregation with no online footprint, but no independent evidence of existence was found, so a quick human check is warranted.
We have asked this church for one piece of extra evidence: a photo, a link, its denomination, or a church that can vouch for it. The moment we can verify, this report is upgraded. Without a response, the listing is paused after 14 days.
