Church Verification Report

What we checked

• Not a duplicate: no similarly named church is listed with us
• The name reads as a real congregation
• Contact email reviewed (gmail.com, common for small churches)
• No website or social page was provided
• Independent web search performed: see the findings on the right
• We wrote to this church and it answered from its own address on 2026-08-25 14:37; a person here read the exchange (registration with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission, with incorporation and 2025 annual return documents provided)

What we found

We searched for "Faith Baptist Church of Aba" together with Aba and Abia State, and then for the name alongside "church" and Nigeria, and we found no listing, page or mention of a congregation by that name in Aba. The results returned only unrelated churches and institutions elsewhere in Nigeria, such as Faith Baptist College in Port Harcourt, founded by a Faith Baptist Church there, a Faith Baptist Church in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, started in 2004 by missionaries, and a Faith Baptist Church on Abiola Way listed by the Ogun Baptist Conference association register; none of these is in Abia State. We found no Facebook page, map listing, directory entry or news item for the Aba church, and no entry for it in any Nigerian Baptist Convention material we saw, although that body reports 14,678 churches nationwide, most of which have no individual web presence. The findings are summarized here for space; the full research was weighed in the review.
