What we found
We searched for "Jesus Disciples Assembly" together with Bende and with Nigeria, and we found a real church body of that name, though its base is given as Umuahia rather than Bende. A Facebook page titled "Jesus Disciples Assembly INC." lists Umuahia and shows around 980 likes and roughly 1,489 people who have checked in at the location, which suggests an actual meeting place that people visit. An independent ministry network site describes the leadership: Bishop Dr Prosper Prince Obaro is named as Senior Pastor of Jesus Disciples Assembly with headquarters in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria, and as founder of Ministers Connect International (mciglobal.org). We found no directory entry, map listing, news article or denominational register naming a Bende branch specifically, and no page linking the yahoo.com contact address to the church. We found no scam reports, fraud warnings or complaints about this name.
Our conclusion: An independent search found a working Facebook page titled "Jesus Disciples Assembly INC." with around 980 likes and roughly 1,489 visitor check-ins, which points to a real congregation with a real meeting place, and a ministry network site names Bishop Dr Prosper Prince Obaro as Senior Pastor of Jesus Disciples Assembly with headquarters in Umuahia, Abia State. Bende is in the same state as Umuahia, so a local branch led by Pastor Charles Uwakwe
