1 Corinthians 15

The Explanation
Listen. Paul wrote a letter. A very special letter. He wrote it to people far away, in a city called Corinth.
Paul had big news. The biggest news ever!
Do you know what it was? Listen carefully.
Jesus died. That is very sad. His friends cried. They put Jesus in a grave. A grave is where people go when they are dead. A big stone was rolled in front.
But then… then something happened. Something wonderful!
After three days, Jesus was alive again! Really alive! He walked and He talked. He ate bread. His friends could see Him. They could touch His hands.
Peter saw Him. And John saw Him. And many, many people saw Jesus. More than five hundred people! All at the same time!
Paul says: it is really true. Jesus is alive.
What Does This Mean?
Sometimes people are afraid of dying. Sometimes people are sad, because someone they love is dead.
But Paul says: do not be afraid. Jesus is stronger. Jesus is stronger than dying!
Jesus went into the dark grave. But He did not stay there. He came out again. Alive!
That is the biggest wonder in the whole world.
The Common Thread
Long ago, God made a promise. He said: I will send Someone. He will make everything good again.
That Someone is Jesus.
Jesus loves you so much. He gave His life. And God gave Him back, alive.
And Paul says something else. Something very special. One day, everyone who loves Jesus will also live again. Forever and ever! With Jesus. In a beautiful place, where no one is sad anymore. Where no one cries anymore.
That is God's big promise.
For You
Do you sometimes feel scared in the dark? Or sad?
Then you may know: Jesus is alive. He is with you. Right now. In your room. In your bed. In the car. Everywhere.
You cannot see Him. But He is there. Just like the wind. You cannot see the wind, but it is there.
And Jesus is strong. Very, very strong. Stronger than the dark. Stronger than being scared. Stronger than everything.
Sometimes maybe someone you love dies. A grandma. Or a pet. Then you may cry. That is okay. Jesus also cried.
But Jesus says: it is not the end. I make everything new again. I promise.

Dear Jesus,
You died. That is sad. But You are alive again. That is wonderful! Thank You that You are so strong. Thank You that You are with me. Even when it is dark. Even when I am scared. You love me. And I love You too.

Paul is not shaming your body. He is telling you the truth about it: it wears out, it cannot cross into what lasts forever. Whatever you are clinging to right now, your strength, your youth, your reputation, none of it can carry you home. Something new has to be given. And it will be.
