One goal:
spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

On this page we show you exactly how we work: what we believe, how every Bible study is made, how we use AI while people stay in charge, and where every euro goes.

Why we exist

Free Scripture, for every reader

Faith.network brings the Bible to everyone, free, in eleven languages, for every age. The work is carried by people who contribute out of conviction. We have no hidden ways of making money, we never sell your data, and the Word is never behind a payment.

A small team could never write faithful Bible studies in eleven languages, every day, by hand. Smart technology makes that reach possible. Everything on this page exists to keep it trustworthy.

Where we stand

Our theological foundation

Three simple principles guide every line we publish. Every study is tested against them.

A study that does not fit these three is never published.
1

Sola Scriptura

Scripture is the highest norm for faith and life. Traditions, church fathers and theologians are conversation partners, but subordinate to what God says in the Bible. Where sources differ, Scripture comes first.

2

Christ-centered

We read the Bible as one continuous story that finds its center in Christ. The Old Testament points to Him, the New Testament testifies of Him.

3

Historic Christian faith

We stand on what Christians of every church have confessed together for centuries: the Trinity, the deity and humanity of Christ, His suffering, resurrection and return. The Nicene Creed and the Apostles' Creed form the framework, shared by evangelical, baptist, pentecostal, reformed and many other churches alike.

The review team

Real people read along

A growing team of volunteer reviewers reads along with the studies: real people who love the Word, reading in their own language, slowly and completely, with the Bible open.

We are honest about the scale: with studies in eleven languages, human eyes cannot read every page. The automatic gates further down this page guard everything; the review team reads as much as it can, study by study, and their work keeps growing.

When a reviewer has read a study in full and stands behind it, the page says so by name: Checked by, with a first name that links to their own reviewer page. That name means something simple and strong: a real person read every line of this page.

Follow one verse through the chain

Promises are easy. So here is the whole chain, link by link, for one real verse. Every link must hold. If one breaks, the study goes back, never forward.

And when a link breaks? Then there is nothing to publish. A failed check means rewriting. What the daily samples catch is fixed or withdrawn. Readers only ever see what survived the whole chain.
Every study, every language, every day

We did not run this once, just for this page. It is the route every one of our studies travels, in all eleven languages, every single day.

Honest about AI

Yes, we use AI. Here are the hard lines.

We understand that AI worries people, especially this close to Scripture. So let us be direct: AI is our printing press, not our preacher. A printing press spreads the message. It never writes its own gospel.

AI is the only way a small team can serve eleven languages every day. Without it, we would reach almost no one. Using it carelessly would break your trust. So we chose a third way: use it fully, and guard it fully.

Here is what AI is never allowed to do on this platform. Not our intentions, but hard rules.

✕Never writes or changes Bible text. Scripture is quoted, not generated.
✕Never invents new teachings and never speaks for God. It only explains, in service of the text.
✕Never approves a church, a dedication or a listing on its own. People decide that.
✕Never publishes anything a safety check has stopped. Stopped means stopped.
✕Never uses your data for ads, and never sells it.
✕Never replaces your church, your pastor or your own reading of the Word.
How do we make sure these rules are kept? Not with good intentions, but with six gates that everything must pass.↓
How the rules are kept

Six gates, every single time

Everything on this platform goes through the same six gates. No exceptions, no shortcuts, whether it is study number ten or study ten thousand.

1

It starts with the Bible The Bible

Every study starts from the Bible text itself (the World English Bible (WEB), with care for the original languages). The verse is fixed. Everything else is written around it, never over it.

2

Built on trusted sources The sources

The explanation builds on the great teachers of the church across twenty centuries, all tested against our foundation. Nothing is made up on the spot.

3

AI writes, we compare AI writes

AI writes the first version in three layers: a summary, the deeper meaning, and what it means for your life. Then the text is compared with the Bible verse itself. If it says anything the verse does not say, it is caught and rewritten before anyone reads it.

4

Automatic safety checks Automatic check

Separate automatic checks test every study against our foundation and watch for anything that does not belong. If something is wrong, the study is stopped, not published.

5

People decide People decide

People always decide where it matters most: content stopped by a check, and every church that joins, waits for a human decision. People take daily samples of published studies and judge them: approved, revised, or withdrawn. And a volunteer review team reads along, study by study; a page they have read in full says Checked by, with a real first name.

6

Checked again, every day Daily check

Publishing is not the end of the checking. Every page on every language site is checked again daily, and anything strange is reported for review the same day.

This path is not a paper promise. It is built into the platform itself: content that has not passed the gates cannot reach a reader.

Just as important

What we do not claim

Honesty builds trust. So here is, just as clearly, what we are not.

No replacement for church or pastoral care

A written explanation does not replace the local congregation, reading together in a small group, or a conversation with a pastor. Some questions call for an elder, not a commentary. Read Faith.network as a supplement, not a substitute.

No claim to infallibility

Only Scripture is infallible. Our explanations are not. Automated language models can make mistakes, and so can we. The gates catch a lot, and the daily human samples catch more, but no process catches everything. If you find something that is not right, theologically or factually, let us know at connect [at] faith.network. A real person reads it, answers you, and fixes it.

No feigned neutrality

On points where Christians disagree, we present the main positions and indicate where we stand and why. We do not pretend the differences do not exist, but we do not polarize unnecessarily either.

No full disclosure of sources per explanation

Because an explanation draws on a large number of source passages at once, we do not provide a list of specific works per explanation. What we do guarantee is that all sources included in the corpus originate within the broader Christian theological tradition and have been tested against the foundation.

About Faith.network

The Bible is a book full of wisdom, but at times hard to understand. Faith.network was born from the desire to make that depth accessible to everyone.

We believe technology can help faith grow. By combining the power of smart software with trustworthy theological sources, we offer explanation, background and context for every verse. So that you don't just read, but truly grow.

Disclaimer: Faith.network uses automated language models to prepare Bible studies and reflections. All content is generated from the Bible text itself and checked daily by an independent, automated quality control: random samples from every language site are scored on faithfulness to Scripture, verbatim Bible quotation, language and clarity, and the results are published unedited. Even so, no explanation is infallible and mistakes can occur. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional advice, and no rights can be derived from its content. Always test what you read against the Bible itself, and use Faith.network as a supplement to — never a replacement for — your own Bible study, prayer and the life of a local church community.
