The Explanation
Every morning, the sun came up. And every morning, a lamb was brought to God. Every evening, the sun went down. And every evening, a lamb was brought too.
God said to Moses, "Tell my people this. Bring me a lamb. Every morning. Every evening." Little lambs, soft and white. With flour, and oil, and something to drink poured out too.
God said, "It smells good to me. Like something sweet."
Not just one day. Every day. Morning lamb, evening lamb. Morning lamb, evening lamb. Like a heartbeat, that never stopped.
On the Sabbath, the special rest day, there were two lambs more. On the first of every month, even more. Bulls, big and strong. A ram, with curly horns. Seven little lambs, all soft.
And at Passover, God's big feast, everyone ate bread without yeast. Flat bread, for seven whole days. And still, every single morning, that lamb came again.
What Does This Mean?
Why so many lambs? Why every single day?
Because God's people needed Him every single day. Not just sometimes. Not just when they remembered. Every morning, God was there. Every evening too.
The lamb said something, without any words. It said, "God is here. Right now. This morning. This evening too."
Like when your mama tucks you in, every night. Not just once. Every night, the same warm hug.
The Common Thread
One day, another lamb came. Not just any lamb. John looked at Jesus and said, "Look, the Lamb of God."
Jesus was gentle, like a lamb. Jesus gave himself, once, for everyone. Not just morning and evening anymore. Jesus was enough, forever.
All those lambs in the desert, every single day, they were pointing. Pointing forward. To Jesus.

Do you know God is near you every morning? When you wake up, He is there. When you go to sleep, He is still there.
You do not need to bring a lamb. Jesus already came. You can just say good morning to God. You can just say good night to Him too.
