☀ The morning moment
Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise Him.

In simple words: Singing songs to God is a really good thing to do. It makes our hearts happy and it makes God happy too.
Have you ever noticed how a song can change everything? You wake up a bit grumpy, and then a happy tune starts playing, and suddenly your feet want to dance to the breakfast table.
God loves it when you sing to Him. It doesn't have to be perfect. You can hum in the shower, whistle while you pack your bag, or sing quietly on the way to school. Even if only God can hear you, that's enough.
Today is Wednesday, right in the middle of the week. Maybe you have a spelling test, or a friend to sit next to at lunch, or a game at recess. Whatever comes, you can carry a little song in your heart. God is with you, and He loves your song.
✦ The lunch moment

In simple words: When someone is upset, kind words help calm things down. Shouting or mean words just make everyone more angry.
Have you ever noticed what happens when someone yells and you yell right back? It's like throwing sticks on a fire. The flames just get bigger and hotter.
But a soft, kind answer is like a cup of water on that fire. It cools everything down. Even if your friend snaps at you on the playground, or your little brother grabs your toy, a gentle voice can turn the whole thing around.
This afternoon you might meet someone who is grumpy. Maybe a classmate lost their pencil, or a teacher is tired. You can try it out. One kind word. One calm sentence. See what happens. God's wisdom really works, even in small everyday moments.
✩ The afternoon moment
Taking the child by the hand, He said to her, "Talitha cumi!" which means, being interpreted, "Girl, I tell you, get up!"

In simple words: Jesus took the little girl's hand and said, 'Little girl, get up!' And she did.
Imagine walking home from school and everyone in your street is crying. That's what it was like at Jairus's house. His twelve year old daughter had died, and people were wailing loudly outside.
Then Jesus walked in. He sent the crowd away. He went into her room with just her mom, her dad, and three friends. He took her small hand, the way your dad might take yours when crossing the road. He spoke gently, not loudly.
'Little girl, get up.' And she opened her eyes. She sat up. She walked. Jesus even reminded them to give her something to eat, like a snack after school. Jesus is strong enough for the biggest sadness, and gentle enough to hold one small hand.
☾ The evening moment
Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
Psalm 121:5-6 (WEB)
In simple words: God takes care of you like a shady tree on a hot day. Nothing can hurt you, not in the sunshine and not in the dark night.
Your pillow is soft. The day is done. Maybe today had bright sunny bits, like playing outside or laughing with a friend. Maybe some parts felt bumpy, like a hard sum at school or a moment you felt left out.
God saw all of it. Every single second. And now He sees you here, tucked in, ready to close your eyes. He is your keeper. That means He watches over you the way a mom or dad watches a little baby sleep.
You do not have to keep guard tonight. God already is. He never gets tired. He never blinks. While you sleep, He stays right beside you, gentle and near. You are safe. You are loved. Goodnight.
