☀ The morning moment
Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

In simple words: God is on your team. You don't have to be scared, because He is with you wherever you go.
Have you ever had a friend who walks with you to school so you don't have to go alone? It feels good, right? Someone next to you, on your side.
That's what God is like this morning. Before you even put your shoes on, He is already with you. In the classroom, on the playground, at the lunch table. He's on your side.
Maybe today feels big. A spelling test, a tricky friend, gym class. You can whisper quietly, God, You're with me. And He is. Really. You can walk out that door with your head up, because the strongest, kindest One in the whole world stands right beside you.
✦ The lunch moment
A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

In simple words: Being happy on the inside is like good medicine for your whole self. Feeling sad and grumpy makes everything feel heavy and tired.
Halfway through Tuesday already. Did you know that a smile can actually help someone feel better? It's true. When you laugh with a friend at lunch, or make your little brother giggle, something good happens inside both of you.
The Bible says a cheerful heart works like medicine. Not the kind you drink from a spoon, but the kind that makes your day feel lighter. And you can share it, just by being kind and fun to be around.
Maybe there's someone in your class or at home who seems a bit quiet today. You could tell them a silly joke, or ask them to play. Your cheerfulness might be exactly the medicine they needed.
✩ The afternoon moment
He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

In simple words: Jesus woke up in the boat during a huge storm. He told the wind and waves to stop, and everything went quiet right away.
Picture this. The disciples are in a small wooden boat. Waves crash over the sides. The wind screams. And Jesus? He is asleep on a cushion in the back. Asleep!
The disciples shake Him awake, scared. Maybe you know that feeling too, when something at school today felt too big, or a test made your stomach flip. Sometimes life feels like a storm inside your chest.
Jesus stands up. He speaks three little words to the wind. And the sea goes flat like a mirror. The same Jesus who calmed that storm is with you now. He is not worried by the big waves in your day. He can quiet them too.
☾ The evening moment
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

In simple words: God is like a good shepherd. He takes you to soft grass to lie down, and to quiet water. He helps you feel new again.
Picture a little lamb in a big green field. The grass is soft. The water is quiet. The sky is turning pink. The shepherd is right there, watching, counting every single lamb.
That lamb is you tonight. Your bed is the soft grass. Your room is the safe field. And God is the shepherd who never falls asleep. He knows exactly where you are, under your blanket, with your head on the pillow.
Maybe today was a busy day. Maybe something felt hard, or something felt fun. You can let all of it go now. The shepherd has you. You can close your eyes. You are safe. You are loved. Sleep well, little lamb.
