☀ Morning moment
For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.

In simple words: God makes us happy with all the things He has made. We can be glad and jump for joy because of Him.
Saturday morning! No school bag, no rush. Maybe you smell pancakes, or hear your dad already outside with the lawnmower. This is a day to breathe out.
God made this whole day for you to enjoy. The sunshine on your blanket, your bike in the shed, your favorite game waiting on the shelf, your grandma's voice on the phone. All of it comes from His hands. You do not have to earn a happy Saturday. God just gives it to you, like a present wrapped in an ordinary day.

Today, do one fun thing with someone you love, and say thank you to God for it out loud, even just a whisper.
✦ Lunch moment
A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

In simple words: Having lots of friends is nice, but one true friend who really sticks with you is even better.
Today is Saturday. Maybe you are riding your bike, building something, or just hanging around at home with nothing special to do. Perfect day to think about your friends.
Some friends are just for playing a game and then they are gone. But some friends stay close, even on boring days, even when you are grumpy or lose a game. That is a real friend. Jesus is like that too. He does not leave when things get messy. He stays closer than anyone else, even when you forget about Him.
Maybe today you play with a neighbor, or a brother or sister, or nobody new at all. That is fine. A true friend is not about how many you have.

✩ Afternoon moment
Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha cumi!” which means, being interpreted, “Girl, I tell you, get up!”

In simple words: Jesus held the little girl's hand and told her to get up. She had been very sick, but now she was alive and well again.
Think about someone holding your hand. Maybe when you cross a busy street, or when you are scared in the dark, or when you fall and scrape your knee. A hand that holds yours feels safe.
That is what Jesus did for a little girl who had died. He did not shout from far away. He came close, took her small hand in His, and said, get up. And she did. His hand was strong enough to bring her back to life, but gentle enough to hold hers softly.
Jesus still reaches out His hand to you, even on a quiet Saturday afternoon. He is never too busy and never too far away.

☾ Evening moment
For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

In simple words: God sends His angels to watch over you, wherever you go and wherever you are.
Maybe today you rode your bike, built something with blocks, or just lay on the grass looking at clouds. Saturdays are for slow, happy things. And now the day is folding up like a blanket, ready for bed.
Did you know you were never alone today? Not on your bike, not in the garden, not even now in your room. God sent His angels to watch over you, in all your ways, the Bible says. That means the fun parts and the quiet parts too.

Tomorrow is Sunday, a day to go to church and sing and hear about God together. Tonight you can just rest, knowing His angels are already watching over your bed. Tell someone in your family one fun thing you did today before you fall asleep.
