☀ The morning moment
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

In simple words: When something feels scary or hard, you can trust God. He is bigger than anything that worries you.
Good morning! Take a peek out the window. Maybe the sun is up, maybe the sky is grey, maybe a bird is hopping across the grass. A brand new Tuesday is waiting for you.
Sometimes a new day has something tricky in it. A spelling test. A friend who was grumpy yesterday. A game where you might not get picked first. Your tummy can feel a little wobbly just thinking about it.
Here is a secret you can carry in your pocket all day. When something feels big, you can whisper to God, 'I trust You.' You do not have to be brave all by yourself. He is walking with you into class, onto the playground, and all the way home again.
✦ The lunch moment

In simple words: When you feel worried inside, it feels heavy. But one kind word from someone can make your heart feel light and happy again.
Have you ever carried a backpack full of books? After a while your shoulders start to ache. Worries can feel just like that, but inside your heart. Maybe you're thinking about a test this afternoon, or a friend who was grumpy at recess.
The Bible says something small can lift that heavy feeling: a kind word. Just one. Like when someone smiles and says, 'Sit next to me.' Suddenly the backpack feels lighter.
Here's the cool part. You can be that kind word for someone else today. Look around after lunch. Is there a kid sitting alone? A friend who looks a bit sad? Say something friendly. You might not know it, but you could make their whole afternoon glad.
✩ The afternoon moment
But Jesus, when he heard the message spoken, immediately said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Don't be afraid, only believe."

In simple words: Jesus told a worried dad whose daughter was very sick, "Don't be scared. Just trust Me."
Imagine a dad running through a busy street, pushing past people, trying to reach Jesus. His little girl is very sick at home. His name was Jairus, and his heart was pounding.
Then someone shouted the worst news ever: "She's gone. Don't bother Jesus anymore." Jairus froze. But Jesus looked right at him and said, "Don't be afraid. Just believe." And then Jesus walked with him all the way home.
Maybe today something felt scary. A hard test, a friend who was mean, a worry you can't shake off. Jesus says the same words to you. He doesn't roll His eyes at your fears. He walks with you, right into the middle of them, and He is stronger than the scary thing.
☾ The evening moment
Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

In simple words: God knows you completely. He sees when you sit down, when you stand up, and even when you lie down to sleep. Nothing about you is hidden from Him.
Think about everyone who saw you today. Your teacher saw you in class. Your friends saw you at recess. Someone at home saw you eating dinner. But there was Someone else who saw you all day long.
God was there when you woke up this morning. He was there during that tricky math lesson. He was there when you laughed, and when something felt hard. And right now, as you get ready to sleep, He is here too.
He knows the little thoughts inside your head, even the ones you did not say out loud. And He is not disappointed. He loves you. You can close your eyes now. The God who knows you completely is watching over you tonight.
