Four short Bible moments for children, based on Isaiah 40:31, Proverbs 17:17, Luke 19:5 and Psalm 121:7.
☀ Morning moment
but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

In simple words: When we trust God, He gives us fresh strength, like an eagle flying high. We can run and walk without giving up.
Your shoes are on, your bag is packed, and maybe you still feel a little sleepy. Mondays can feel long before they even start. Maybe there is a test, or a friend you are not sure about today.
God is not sleepy at all. He is already awake, watching over you, ready to give you strength like an eagle has strong wings for flying high. You do not have to carry today all by yourself. He carries it with you, step by step, hallway by hallway, all the way to the last bell.

Before you walk out the door, take one deep breath and quietly tell God, 'Give me Your strength today.'
✦ Lunch moment
A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity.

In simple words: A real friend loves you all the time, even on the hard days, not just the fun ones.
Think about lunchtime today. Maybe you sit at the same table every day, with the same friends. That is easy. But what about the kid who sits alone, or the one who had a bad morning?
A real friend does not only show up when everything is fun. God made friendship to be strong, like a rope that holds even when things get tricky. You can be that kind of friend, even in small ways.

✩ Afternoon moment
When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

In simple words: Jesus looked up into the tree and saw Zacchaeus hiding there. He called him by name and asked to visit his house.
You just got home from school. Maybe you kicked off your shoes and dropped your bag by the door. Did anyone notice you walk in, or did you feel like you just slipped past everyone, quiet and small?
Zacchaeus climbed a tree so nobody would notice him. He was small, and lots of people did not like him. But Jesus looked up, right into that tree, and called him by name. Jesus did not walk past him. He wanted to sit at his table and talk with him, right there, that same afternoon.
Your turn
Jesus still looks up and sees you, even on an ordinary Monday. Tell someone at home one good thing that happened at school today.
☾ Evening moment
Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.
Psalm 121:7 (World English Bible (WEB))
In simple words: God keeps you safe from anything bad. He watches over your whole heart, all night long.
Maybe today was a busy Monday. Maybe you had homework, or ran around outside, or your room is still a little messy from playing. That is all okay now. The day is done.
You can put your shoes by the door and your worries down too. God does not go to sleep like you do. While you close your eyes, He stays awake. He is not far away in the sky somewhere, He is right here, close to your bed, close to your heart.
Nothing can sneak past Him in the dark. No bad dream, no scary noise, no worry about tomorrow's spelling test. He keeps you, all of you, your body and your thoughts, safe through the whole night.
