Four short Bible moments for children, based on Psalm 84:2, Psalm 95:6, Mark 1:41 and 1 Peter 5:7.
☀ Morning moment
My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of Yahweh. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

In simple words: The writer really wants to be close to God, like you really want to see someone you love.
Today is Sunday, and maybe you can already smell breakfast, hear your family getting ready, or feel excited because you get to see people you love at church. That good feeling inside you, that is a little bit like what this Bible verse talks about. The writer wanted to be near God so much that his whole body was excited about it, like when you cannot wait to see your best friend.
You do not need a big church building to be near God. He is with you at the breakfast table, in the car, on the walk, in the singing, even in the yawning. Sunday is a day to slow down and remember that God loves being with you, and you get to enjoy being with Him too.

✦ Lunch moment
Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,

In simple words: This verse invites us to bow down and worship God, because He made us and takes care of us.
Today is Sunday, a day to gather with others and think about God. Maybe you sang a song this morning, or sat quietly in church, or prayed with your family at the table. Did you notice how good it feels to do that together with other people?
Bowing down does not mean you have to be sad or serious. It just means you say, God, You are bigger than me, and I am glad You made me. You can do that standing, sitting, or even while eating your lunch.

After lunch, take one quiet minute and say thank You to God for one good thing from this morning.

Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, “I want to. Be made clean.”

In simple words: A very sick man came to Jesus, and no one wanted to touch him. Jesus touched him anyway and made him well.
Have you ever felt left out, like nobody wanted to sit next to you? That leper felt like that every single day. People stayed far away from him because they were scared of catching his sickness.
But Jesus walked right up to him. He did not stay at a safe distance. He reached out His hand and touched the man nobody else would touch. Jesus was not scared. He cared more about that man than about the rules that kept everyone away.

This afternoon, give someone in your family a hug, just because.
☾ Evening moment
casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

In simple words: You can give all your worries to God before you sleep. He cares about you and takes care of you.
Today was Sunday, a day to sing and rest with God's family at church. Maybe you sang loud songs, or maybe you just sat quietly and listened. Now the day is ending, and your bed is waiting for you.
Sometimes little worries sneak in at night, like a lost toy, a strange noise, or something that happened with a friend. You do not have to hold on to those worries all by yourself. God says you can give them all to Him, because He cares about you more than you can imagine.
