Faithful Love
Four short Bible moments for children, based on Psalm 33:4, John 15:12, Daniel 6:16 and Psalm 91:3.
☀ Morning moment
For Yahweh’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.

In simple words: God always tells the truth. Everything He does, He does with love and care.
Maybe your shoes are still untied, or you forgot where your backpack is. Mornings can feel like a rush. But before you even find your other sock, God is already awake, already caring for you.
Think about your teacher taking attendance, or your friend saving you a seat at lunch. Small things, but they matter. God's work is like that too, only bigger and always true. He never forgets a promise, never breaks His word, never lets you down.

Before you walk out the door today, whisper one thank you to God for something good in your morning.
✦ Lunch moment
“This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.

In simple words: Jesus tells His friends to love each other the same way He loves them, with kindness and patience.
Maybe lunch today is loud and busy. Someone spills their juice, someone else grabs the last cookie, and you have to decide how to react. That is exactly the moment Jesus is talking about.
He does not just say be nice sometimes. He says love others the way He loves you. Think about how patient Jesus is with you, even when you mess up. That is the same patience you can give the kid who spills things, or the friend who is grumpy today.
You do not need a big plan for this. It can be one small thing, like sharing your seat, or saving a spot for someone who usually sits alone.

This afternoon, do one kind thing for someone without waiting to be asked.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Your God whom you serve continually, he will deliver you.”

In simple words: The king threw Daniel into a den full of lions. But the king still believed that God would take care of Daniel.
Think about the scariest room you know. Maybe it is the dark basement, or the dentist's chair, or standing alone at recess when nobody picks you first. Daniel had to walk into a den full of real, hungry lions. His heart must have been pounding so loud he could hear it in his ears.
But Daniel had been talking to God every single day, long before the lions showed up. That is why, even in that scary place, he was not completely alone. God was already there with him, in the dark, among the teeth and the growling.

Today, tell someone at home about one thing that feels a little scary to you, even something small like a math test or a new kid at school.

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.

In simple words: God keeps you safe, just like a bird is kept safe from a hunter's trap.
Maybe today was full of running around, school, homework, dinner, and now you are finally lying still. Your body is tired, but your mind might still be buzzing with all the things that happened.
Think of a little bird flying home to its nest at the end of the day. It does not worry about traps or dangers anymore, because it is safe inside the nest. That is how God watches over you tonight. Nothing can sneak up on you while He is near.
